HOW TO APPLY STICKERS
Putting stickers on your car it's a great way to customize your vehicle and express your personal tastes and preferences.
In addition, they can also be useful to protect your car's paint from scratches and other minor damage. If you're new to car decals, follow these step-by-step instructions to get perfect results.
Required materials:
- Car stickers
- Water and liquid detergent
- Scraper or modeling knife
- A clean, dry cloth
- Special tools for gluing the stickers, if necessary (SevStickers stickers do not require special tools for gluing as they are glued directly by pressing, using transfer film)
Step 1 : Clean and dry the surface of the car well Before sticking the stickers, the surface of the car must be clean and dry. Soak a clean, dry cloth in water and liquid detergent and carefully wipe the surface you want to stick the sticker on. Be sure to remove any traces of dirt, grease or wax and allow the surface to dry completely before applying the sticker.
Step 2 : Measure and position the sticker Carefully measure the surface you want to stick the sticker on and make sure you have a sticker that perfectly fits the dimensions you want. Place the sticker on the surface of the car and make sure it is centered and in the right place. To do this, you can mark the surface of the car with a pencil or other light marker before sticking the sticker.
Step 3 : Remove the protective layer Most car stickers have two layers – a protective layer and an adhesive layer. Start by carefully peeling back the protective layer to reveal the adhesive layer underneath. Do this carefully so as not to tear the sticker or remove the adhesive layer with the protector.
Step 4 : Stick the sticker on the car after removing the backing layer, stick the sticker on the surface of the car, positioning the sticker correctly (avoid sticking it crookedly). Gluing is done by removing the lower layer (the one under the sticker) and placing the sticker on the respective surface. Then, with a strong card, press the sticker lengthwise (for better adhesion), and after 5 minutes, slowly peel off the top sheet covering the sticker, leaving only the sticker on that surface.
